21st Century Syndrome: Impact on Hormones and Mental Health

Presented by: Alexandra Brewster

Alexandra is a certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, naturopath, nutritionist and western herbalist with a passion for empowering others to take control of their health. She was born in Germany and was always encouraged to seek the “Nature Cure” as well as allopathic medicine. She graduated as a registered nurse in 1985 and as a midwife in 1987 at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, NSW. Whilst she enjoyed her career as a nurse and midwife, she knew that our bodies were more than a group of symptoms. She studied naturopathy, and continuously upgraded her knowledge. Her proudest achievement was attaining the highly converted board certification in Functional Medicine – only 7 thus far in Australia. She has now retired from clinical practise, choosing to concentrate on education and professional writing.
