Justin Sinclair presents the scientific basis and evidence for the use of medicinal cannabis in chronic pain, discusses the biochemistry and biological pathways of cannabinoids, and provides guidance for GPs on the prescription process and access regulations for GPs to prescribe medicinal cannabis.

Justin is a pharmacognosist who has been working in higher education since 2003. He has extensive experience in scientific and traditional herbal medicine, and has taught, written, researched and presented on a range of topics encompassing medical sciences, clinical pathology and plant specific sciences, most notably his work over the past decade on medicinal cannabis and cannabinoid based pharmacology.
Justin is also a Research Fellow at the National Institute of Complementary Medicine (NICM) at the University of Western Sydney, and the Principal Consultant at Traditional Medicine Consultancy. He is the Chief Scientist on the Scientific Advisory Council for the ‘United in Compassion’ organisation, And lectures at the Endeavour College of Natural Health, and the Australasian College of Natural Therapies (ACNT).
