In this program, ‘Beat Stress, Feel Better’, our presenters will explain the health effects that stress has, whether it be long-term chronic stress, or the day-to-day pressure that we are all under. Our presenters will discuss the ‘Go To’ foods we reach for when we feel stressed, like coffee, sugar and alcohol and provide some good alternative options. You will hear from a Gastroenterologist as he explains how stress is linked with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and from an Integrative Psychiatrist on achieving emotional wellbeing without the need for medication. This event will wrap up with a mindfulness session with our Counsellor and Clinical Hypnotherapist. After each speaker, there will be time for questions from the audience.
Join us for ‘MedEd 4 Everyone’ and gain insight into how to manage your health better through busy times, and boost your overall health.
