Louise will discuss the influence of trauma throughout the lifespan, its impact on metabolic health, and how it relates to ACNEM's four pillars of health (nutrition/diet, physical activity, sleep and environmental factors).
This webinar will:
- Provide an overview of lifespan trauma
- Discuss phases of metabolic rate changes in post trauma response, including pathological processes involved in the development and progression of post trauma metabolic change
- Introduce the Four Pillars of Health Assessment Framework for performing a post trauma metabolic assessment including nutritional health biopsychosocial and environmental risk assessment
- Present nutritional and phytotherapeutic strategies for management and prevention

An innovative public speaker with a wealth of nutritional and clinical knowledge, in the field of nutritional and integrative medicine. Louise is a senior tertiary academic at Torrens University and is a practicing integrative health clinician. Louise has completed a Master of Nutritional Medicine and is currently completing her PhD in Public Health Nutrition specialising in nutritional needs for disability.
During her career Louise’s contribution to industry education is diverse including the role of Program Director and Head of Academic Studies with the faculty of Health. Louise is a regular key note speaker at national industry events on environmental health, clinical nutrition, public health, nutritional biochemistry and complex metabolic health.
