Professor Mustafa Djamgoz

Professor Mustafa Djamgoz completed his PhD in physics and biophysics at the Imperial College, London. Prof. Djamgoz specialises in cancer biology, natural and nutraceutical products and the integrated management of cancer. He founded CELEX Oncology Innovations Ltd, a biotechnology company that has identified the mechanism in Breast and Colon cancer that turn these cancers forms from benign tumours into aggressive, invasive and metastatic tumours. Prof. Djamgoz published the book Beat Cancer in 2014 and has more than 200 peer-reviewed papers in international journals. He has also received the Huxley Memorial Medal and Japanese Government Research Award for Foreign Specialist. He has also served as a Trustee of Breast Cancer Care and as the Chairman of the Science Council of the College of Medicine.
