Dr. Leah Hechtman

Dr. Leah Hechtman (PhD) is a globally respected naturopathic clinician, a revered lecturer and a sought-after keynote speaker. Driven by her insatiable curiosity and a passion for the nexus of science and spirituality, Dr. Hechtman (PhD) constantly endeavours to enhance her understanding of medicine. She shares her insights through lectures, events and programs. Widely recognised for her expertise, Dr. Hechtman (PhD) receives numerous referrals from specialists and fertility clinics on a global scale.

Rhiannon Hardingham

BHSc(Nat) 
Rhiannon is an experienced fertility naturopath, presenter, practitioner educator and author. Rhiannon is committed to the successful integration of natural and conventional medicine, regularly working alongside Melbourne’s top fertility doctors to achieve the best outcomes for her patients. As testament to this, Rhiannon is routinely invited to present on the topic of collaborative patient care to medical specialists and naturopaths alike. After nearly 20 years of experience in the area of infertility and IVF support, Rhiannon provides professional mentoring and education for functional medicine practitioners in both group and individual settings. This highly specialised area is outside the scope of standard naturopathic education and as such, her reproduction and hormonal masterclasses mentoring programs are a rare opportunity for practitioners to further their skills. Rhiannon has co-authored the book ‘Create a Fertile Life’. This comprehensive pre-conception healthcare guide for both patients and practitioners, has become a staple for those wishing to overcome infertility and prepare for a healthy pregnancy.

Tabitha McIntosh

Tabitha is an experienced Naturopath, founder & director of Awaken Your Health in Sydney, integrating Naturopathic healing principles with the latest scientific research to educate and empower her clients.
After attaining her Bachelor of Medical Science (University of NSW, 2001), she went on to pursue her passion for Integrative healthcare by completing an Advanced Diploma Naturopathy & Diploma Nutrition (Nature Care College, 2005), and Post Grad Dip of Applied Science in Nutritional & Environmental Medicine (Swinburne University, 2006). She has also completed a Masters in Reproductive Medicine through the School of Medicine (University of NSW 2022).  Tabitha is passionate about the wellbeing of her clients, and she works collaboratively with each client and their unique healthcare team including GPs, Fertility Specialists, Obstetricians, Endocrinologists, Oncologists and allied health to ensure optimal health outcomes. Her integrative work with cancer patients facilitates the reduction of side effects of conventional treatment and empowers her clients through better nutrition to improve outcomes and quality of life. She feels her integrative oncology work is very important work, and she values the opportunity to provide guidance and to bridge the gap in care, empowering her clients to advocate for themselves well at a critical time in their lives. 

Dr. Peta Wright

MBBS MRMed FRANZCOG 
Founder, Vera Women’s Wellness. Gynaecologist Paediatric & Adolescent Gynaecologist Fertility Specialist
Dr. Wright completed her undergraduate medical degree with Honours at Monash University in Melbourne in 2004 and obtained her RANZCOG Fellowship in 2013. She has completed a Masters of Reproductive Medicine and a certificate in Women’s Integrative Medicine with Dr. Aviva Romm. Dr. Wright is deeply committed to all aspects of women’s health care and founded Vera Women’s Wellness in 2020. She strives to take a wholistic approach to managing the health concerns of women of all ages. Peta has a particular interest and expertise in the areas of paediatric and adolescent gynaecology, having completed a fellowship in adolescent gynaecology in 2013. Peta has worked in tertiary hospitals caring for women with high-risk pregnancies throughout her training and early years of becoming a consultant. She has also worked in Indigenous and remote Women’s health in Darwin and the Northern territory for a year during her training. For patients who are trying to conceive, Dr. Wright offers fertility care with a wholistic approach, addressing diet, lifestyle, and environmental factors. If required, she can offer treatment with assisted reproductive techniques such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF), intrauterine insemination (IUI) and ovulation induction. Peta is also passionate about helping women with pelvic pain and endometriosis, as well as polycystic ovarian syndrome, hypothalamic amenorrhoea, vulva concerns, painful sex, abnormal pap smears and menopause medicine. In addition, she works with women experiencing pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS) and pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). When it comes to treating any gynaecological condition, it is of utmost importance to Peta that she educates and informs her patients and aims to empower them to achieve the best quality of life possible.

Elysia Humphries

AdvDip AppSc (Nat, HM, Nutr Med)
Elysia has been a women’s health naturopath and nutritionist for 25 years. She has a special interest in endocrine and gynaecological conditions with an integrative approach that combines conventional medical research and natural medicine to offer solutions for people that cover nutrition, herbal medicine and lifestyle change. She works alongside fertility specialists, offering preconception care education and works in the fertility, pregnancy and recurrent miscarriage space, helping people bring healthy babies into the world. Elysia has a passion for integrative, multdisciplinary team health care, as chronic health conditions often need a village. Elysia was also co-author of the AIMA inter-professional communications course, which offers education for CAM practitioners to speak the same language to foster communication around team patient care. She works closely with GP’s, gynaecologists and the team of women’s health physios, osteopaths, chiropractors, nutritionists, psychologists and acupuncturists in her Brisbane-based integrative clinic Vibe Natural Heatlh. She is also working alongside Dr. Peta Wright at Vera Women’s Wellness, sharing patients and education with their “doctor and the naturopath” women’s health events and upcoming podcast. Elysia has a passion for education and women’s health and empowerment and is a proud mum of Tilly & Jude.
