83% of Australian women with endometriosis continue to experience chronic pelvic pain, despite medical or surgical intervention.1 The experience of chronic pain can be isolating, causing significant disruption to an individual’s life.

In this webinar, Emma will discuss the innervation of the female reproductive system, and how this contributes to pain pathways in endometriosis. We will delve into central, cross and peripheral sensitisation to understand why more than 40% of women with endometriosis have central sensitivity.2

Exploring the role of pain sensitisation in endometriosis, we can begin to unravel the complexities of pain processing and experience to provide individualised support for those with chronic pelvic pain. This webinar will provide a multi-modal approach through herbs, nutritional and lifestyle support, and the latest research on effective clinical pain communication.
