Dr. Peter Baratosy

MBBS, FACNEM
Peter Baratosy is a medical doctor, lecturer, and writer on chronic diseases, especially Thyroid Disease, Gut Disorders, Hormonal Problems and Metabolic Syndrome. Peter’s books include “Gut Feelings”, “It Could Still Be Your Thyroid” and most recently “CBD Oil: The Gift of Nature." He has a great interest in treating chronic diseases from a more natural approach, though he does also use conventional medicines when needed.

He graduated more than 40 years ago from the University of Adelaide Medical School in Australia and has over 35 years’ experience as a functional medicine practitioner.

He is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine and is an accredited Medical Acupuncturist with the Medical Board of Australia. He lives in Tasmania with his wife Jenny.
